We lost because they shot 58% from the field and 43% from 3. It ain't that hard when you shoot that well.

But yet we keep slinging 3's that don't fall. Consistent 2's are better than very occasional 3's.

He's never done that. Not in a Clemson uniform at least.

His best day was a 3-3 day at Pitt, and a 4-5 performance against (at) Syracuse.

He did go 6-9 at Pitt, 5-10 at UNC and 5-11 vs BC.

But going 2-8 in both the ND and WFU games, 1-5 against Va Tech, and 0-4 against UNC offset those.

OTOH, his overall shooting and his almost perfect FT shooting especially have been a positive, but he has gone ice cold in games where just being average would have won.

Seems like playing defense might help. Brownell is supposed to be a great defensive-minded coach. Is there nothing in his bag of tricks that might help his players learn how to stop teams from shooting 58%?

Why do so many teams seem to have their best night shooting against us? It’s not a lucky night when pattern is forming.

I remember saying that about Miami. They went on to suck the rest of the season. GT? ND? NCST?

Our Defense is trash and that’s why we won’t do well post season.
