is set to say this to congress today:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Chinese government hackers are busily targeting water treatment plants, the electrical grid, transportation systems and other critical infrastructure inside the United States, FBI Director Chris Wray will tell House lawmakers on Wednesday in a fresh warning from Washington about Beijing’s global ambitions.

Wray will say that that there’s been “far too little public focus” on a cyber threat that affects “every American,” according to a copy of prepared remarks that he is to give before the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.

“China’s hackers are positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to wreak havoc and cause real-world harm to American citizens and communities, if or when China decides the time has come to strike,” Wray will say.

It forecasts the hacking of critical systems, not thru at the moment hacking, but thru ghost viruses implanted in all the chips our systems use, including in military hardware. Rest I won’t do spoilers…

Really good.

Another area where Trump and his admin took security seriously and we're still benefitting today.

This podcast is really interesting:

I’m not saying this to be contentious in any way…this should not be news to anyone.

What's the annual budget of the NSA and DoD??

We spend a LOT of taxpayer money on "cyber" (one of the most popular buzz words in Government - particularly with DoD and the Intel crowd) and yet we still don't seem to have any real confidence in our ability to keep the CCP State sponsored hackers out of our critical infrastructure?? Let me show you my "shocked" face...

So what exactly is the NSA doing with all those taxpayer funded cyber monitoring and anti-intrusion tools if not protecting us from adversaries like China and Russia???

IMO it's not just a problem of our ability to self-protect our networks it's also a failure of our "expert" foreign policy class which the establishment of both Party's have empowered for decades. The fact that we all know that the CCP has been, is currently, and will continue to use Chinese State sponsored hacking on a massive scale without consequence is simply a failure in our foreign policy. It is very evident that the Chinese have ZERO fear of any kind of US reprisal for massively intruding in both our Government networks and our civilian infrastructure as well.

Apparently the USA is simply too chicken to put any real teeth behind a "hey you bunch of Communist a**holes - you better knock this hacking shid off or else...". We are severely lacking in having an "or else" response that the Chinese fear. Probably because the Chicoms have successfully bought off so much of our wealthy elitist class that they are simply not going to get any real consequential pushback on their State sponsored hacking theft...

The NSA is more concerned about tracking US citizens than adversaries.***

Is this the thread where leftist trash complain about mean old Trump using tariffs on the one country in the world with the desire and potential capability to wage warfare on us? Crawl back under your rocks morons.

They also have 400+ Nukes that can strike American soil in 30 minutes, and are on pace to triple that amount in the next ten years. Which worries you more?

I do not know how many times it has to be explained but a ground war with China will never happen, the logical conclusion is nuclear exchange, that is why we have them, to prevent a war. America has also invested 2 trillion in expanding its outdated nuclear arsenal and delivery systems.

"Outdated", eh...? They never stopped producing. As to "delivery systems",
