was a meeting held to get the support and votes of other conference members to sue us? If so, who voted to sue us? Are Stanford, Cal and SMU given voting privileges now or do they have to wait until they are actually in the league because they shouldn’t have any as of this moment. Inquiring minds want to know!

SMU was mentioned on other reports as voting yes for FSU lawsuit and being one of the select teams that got a vote. Hopefully not involving all schools in that decision is what bites the ACC in the #### .

The ACC can make rules and sue members because it is ruled by board of governance and not member ruled. This lawsuit has a high probability to go the ACC’s way. This is more about buying and selling of rights than anything else. History has favored the buyer in these cases. I cite George Lucas vs Hasbro. George sold the Star Wars toys rights for a small amount. The franchise blew up and George sued and lost quickly. It’s buyer and seller beware. We signed the contract. The buyer is stuck with what they bought and the seller is stuck with the deal as well. The ONLY chance we have is to prove subterfuge or wrongdoing to deceive us into a deal that is deemed unfair. We’re fighting an uphill battle.

It appears the ACC has an contractual obligation to take care of member schools. Obviously, an issue is the latest CFP negotiations, which clearly puts Clemson at a disadvantage and is absolutely an existential threat in the long run.

What liability does the ACC have here?

Based on the, "well, we signed it" theory... the ACC could have told the CFP, "hey guys, give the SEC and B1G 90% of the money, and we'll only take 10%", and the member schools would have no pathway to challenge.

Did our “Braintrust” leadership team at Clemson not read the proposed GOR before signing and not realize we were giving away our media rights for too many years to come? It was a bs contract however, “someone” gave the nod to sign it.

The ACC didn't countersue Clemson. That would have required filing a "countersuit" in Pickens. It filed new suit in Mecklenburg, which is certain to be consolidated with the FSU matter pending there. I don't see the vote issue alleged in the ACC's complaint. I suspect that the ACC will cure that just like it didi with FSU by taking the vote after the fact.
