"DJT" was already the memest meme stock in history, made Gamestop look like a solid investment.
Analysts apparently think it'll plummet to below $2 a share. Truth Social generated $3 million in revenue...and had $49 million in expenses. There are absolutely zero fundamentals on the stock.
In some ways, it's sort of cruel. Donald now has $3+ billion of Monopoly money...that he can't actually convert, because the second he goes to sell it plummets and evaporates like the fairy dust it always was. Somebody cynical would note this is an apt metaphor for Donald Trump's entire brand.

going to tank before long. At the current price, it’s valued at over $9B. For context, when Reddit went public it was valued at $6.4B. Reddit’s annual revenue in 2023 was $804 million, compared with Truth Social/Trump Media revenue of $5 million. Classic pump and dump from the Don.

change that allow him to sell 2 days after they approve the change (I think it’s 2 days). Considering the board is made up of his family and closest friends and allies, he will likely be able to sell whenever he wants.

Of course I do, I don’t know anybody who doesn’t. But it’s not by my choice. Most of medicine isn’t like that anymore, where providers or privately owned practices negotiate with payors. We’re all hospital-owned wage slaves now.

You know SOLOS, I’m not ACTUALLY an elitist cabal member, it’s just schtick.

Nobody likes the lower reimbursement from public payors, but that’s a problem for the hospital’s bean counters, not the docs. I get to treat patients how I feel is correct and get paid for what I bill rather than what’s collected, so in that respect it’s actually quite a luxury.
