or

B) The sun burns out

P.S. I really don't like to paint.

Just tell her it is the wrong time of year for painting due

to cold temps.

In the spring tell her the pollen and sudden showers make it a bad time to paint.

In the summer tell her the paint dries too fast and won't soak in due to the heat.

In the fall...tell her you're too busy with football and other fall festivites.

Repeat.
