So my wife and I are expecting a new addition to the Tiger

Jul 27, 2012, 6:44 PM

Family. If it is a boy we will name it after myself (Joswego10 Jr.) but we are not finding any girl names that we agree on. I like Anna. So I was thinking maybe y'all could help us out. Are then any Clemson girl names or any references?
Thanks.

I dated a girl that was named Sara Beth. So Beth is out. My niece is named Elizabeth (Liza). Carrie is nice. What do y'all think about Hartwell? Would Esso be pushing it?

My wife and I are expecting twin girls in 6 weeks or less

Jul 27, 2012, 7:19 PM

We have gone with Anabelle and Adalyn. Boys names were easy to come up with when we still didn't know the sexes of the twins, but girl names took a long time to come to a consesus on. Just about every name she could come up with that she really liked happened to be the name of some girl I had dated in the past.

Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck.

Look at last names on either side of your family. Sometimes one just jumps all over you. My granddaughter is named after my grandmother's maiden name--Spencer.

If you're "all in", name her Dabina Wynn! Seriously, since there's "something in those hills", maybe Hillary (unless you and the missus are Republicans). A buddy of mine named his first kid "Esso", but at least it was the kid's middle name! BTW, the boy (now 16 or 17?) has always hated it, even though he is a huge tiger fan.
