First time, long time. Thanks so much for all that you share with us.
Let me preface this by saying I've never used nor seen a bidet.
My question: Is this like an automated car wash? You know, a quick spray to make things look presentable but ya still need elbow grease to get tougher grime off? Or sorta like a dishwasher where a little prep work yields best results?
I ask because it seems like this would be the case. Maybe it's snot.
K thx. Will hang up and glisten.

No prewiping necessary. Push button and this sexyual looking device extends (not sitting there whilst dropping humanure). It sprays in a concentrated area at close range, so you're definitely not soaking your entire backside.
You can leave it on as long as you like, and trust me, with pleasantly-warm water performing some gentle cleansing work on your pucker, it's easy to go 20-30 seconds and not even realize it. I ain't gay or nothin', but...I'm starting to get it.
Mine has a dryer function--taint blowing air like a public restroom hand dryer or anything, but a gentle, warm breeze that gets things closer to dry in another 20-30 seconds. A couple squares for patting to fully dry off and make sure you're clean, and you're good to go. Occasionally, you still get a lil brown in the sample, so, whatever, one more wipe. Either way, toilet paper usage is going to drop dramatically, at least in MY bathroom.

I think my whole is a little bit special. There's like another hiding spot in there or something.
After a long direct spray with the bidet it's like I'm trying to rub the grease off my trailer hubs.
Also, you are 10X more likely to poke through the paper with a bidet than without. I get lots of overspray on deeznuts and must pat dry. My tp usage may have actually increased.

I always go at least 1 knuckle deep to drag out anything that might seep down later and put a racing strip on my panties.
Also, how can it spray berries out of the dingle?

If you're going a knuckle deep with every deuce, a bidet may not be for you.

Also, dingleberries should be noticeably less prevalent as TP usage declines. Probably not 100% eliminated, but it shouldn't look like the floor at Lowe's or anything.

What if someone doesn’t have 6-8 hours per day to waste cleaning their butt hole?

It'll get ~95% of debris with a quick blast.

I have perfected the aim on mine so there is almost zero room for error or confusion. The water shoots straight into (yes, into) my body, and I violently expel the waste until I'm runnin clear.
I can consume almost 1/2 gallons (not scientifically confirmed) of water into my bottom receptacle before I'm full.
TP is only used for drying.

The slight enema-like factor is real and I'm not ashamed of it. It will flush you out quite well and you'll feel great.

I use a Luxe Neo120, I think? About $40 and attaches to the water line. No electricity needed like fancy ones.
No elbow grease needed and it does the job very cleanly on the lower settings (I'm not sure my ######## can handle full send on that thing). No pre-wipe. It's a precision shot and has cut my toilet paper usage to bare minimum, and that's really just for drying.
Cleanest I've ever felt. I don't like pooping away from home now because of it.
