He was at Wofford prior to Va Tech.

When VT hired him from Wofford, he was ~ 56 years old and spent 17 years in Spartanburg. So far he has a 28-33 record in conference although he has made the dance twice but lost in the first round.

Also has won the ACC tournament. He’s not the best coach some here think but he has won a conference title so he has a trophy.
