what it's like to be a Clemson fan. If you know, you know.
We are a negative lot. Refs are out to get us, PJ can't play, CBB sucksass, whatever. But it's like Clemson sports is our brother. It's ok for us to talkshid about 'em, but all others better not open they mouf.
3 games ago we were expecting to get embarassed and fire the coach. Now?
Now it's all like WE FITTEN TO STICK IN SOMEONESASS IN THE ELITE 8. While I'm certainly in support of CBB and think he's probably earned another 14 yrs here, I'm still not sold on him buttfucket we have a real chance to win this whole shootin match.
Anywho, this whole sitch reminds me of Clemson Football in so many ways....at least with respect to just how mental us fans can be and how quickly that can change.

This run is magic. This is a different team than we've seen in BB's tenure.

-BB is drawing up offensive sets that get easy buckets (the multiple inbounds plays, several high-lows between PJ and Schefflien, working JG3 as a decoy, etc.). This has been, maybe, his greatest weakness as a coach.
-Hunter is finishing around the rim and has cut down the turnovers after a nearly year-long slump.
-We are hitting free throws.
-The team is playing with fantastic energy after sleepwalking through the end of the season.
It is like every major weakness has become a strength. I freaking love it. It's great.

The most unholy alliance of luck, timing and yes, skill to pull off, and I recognize that 3 more of the same would be the most odds-defying thing in Clemson history, but screw it, I’m doubling down on the excitement.
If Brad or Neff had to sell their souls and spend an eternity in the underworld to pull this off, I appreciate their efforts.

ACC tourney and we all laughed and made fun of that person then proceeded to shit the bed. Now we are making a run in the ACTUAL tourney and everyone is starting to believe? Amazing what some good drugs will do.
It's been a good run, I've certainly enjoyed it, especially with the NCSU neighbor across the street. He is as hyped as we are.
