It's come to our recent attention that the school has cut down the TREES between lot 2 and Littlejohn. As you know, these trees provided great PRIVACY and really kept a nice veil of exclusivity between the Lot 2 IPTAY donors and the more common donors who park around Littlejohn. It seems quite UNUSUAL now to ponder spending any time at all in Lot 2, trying to enjoy a libation, while looking down (and even occasionally making eye contact) with those in the cheaper spaces.
Don't get me WRONG. I know they're probably good people, and thankfully most of them are alums....it's not like we're talking about general parking (thank GOD), but still, it's like when you're flying first class, and the stewardesses don't enforce the rules and you have people from coach pulling aside the privacy curtain and walking up to use your BATHROOM. It's just uncomfortable for everyone.
I was just curious what YOU thought about this scenario. As for me, in years past I could occasionally leave my AOC parking spot to walk up to lot 2 and see a friend or two, but I could see this ending that practice for me. I just don't appreciate my university tearing down the walls of exclusivity that I and my father and my father's father worked so hard to erect.

It seems that a piece of timber can't fall on my beloved campus without some street urchin glorified whittlers hauling off the wood and trying to make a quick buck selling souvenirs from it.

All my pens worked fine including the ones I gave as gifts. The bottle openers are still in use as well.

I keep one in the glovebox of each vehicle I own...they’re fantastic and work well. I also keep one in my club car.....much better than those cheap pencils for keeping score at the club.
