Very favorable remaining schedule

We should be favored in 7 of our last 8 regular season games. No reason we can’t win all of ‘em, but the only one I think could be tricky is the road visit to Wake. I think we pay back Miami big time this week.

One game at a time, but I like how the team is trending after a forgettable January.

Go Tigers!

2nites games, WF vs Duke will be interesting ... I plan to go to the Clemson/WF game especially if the Tigers are on a tear ... not EZ to get to though, but my wife said "why don't you plan to spend the night if you go and ..." absence makes the heart grow fonder I guess. Toga ! Toga ! Toga !

Second easiest remaining ACC schedule according to ESPN. I predict 5-3.

I remember when the experts on here tried to argue that our acc schedule wasn't front loaded.

Why have you decided you have to cry and moan about everything - and make stuff up while you do it? We’re 2 games into the second half of the schedule having now played the hardest team in either half twice. Looking at the remaining 8 games and pretending what’s remaining is easy compared to the woefully “front-loaded” part of the schedule is so idiotic I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you aren’t actually that stupid and that you’re clearly just trolling. 5 games in each half are repeats. We play Syracuse twice in the second half, Wake, NC State, Notre Dame. Our non-repeats are BC, VT, Duke, UVA and Louisville. Wake and UVA are a push. Louisville and ND are a push. NC State and VT are a push. Syracuse is harder than BC but easier than Duke. 1 game against Duke is the difference in the “front loaded” schedule you’ve been crying about for more than a month. It’s also mid February and we’re one of the less than half the conference that has only been played 12 games instead of 13. I’ve also seen you crying about how unfair our scheduling was - which is obviously also false if we’re a game behind the conference. But thanks for letting anyone who was curious know that you are fundamentally unserious in your Clemson basketball commentary.

I regretfully unblocked you to see if you made any good points. Im not surprised by the brain dead response where you make 0 good points and fail to recognize even the most common knowledge of college basketball. Namely that road games are a lot tougher than home games. Calling @ VT and NCSU at home a wash is ridiculous. Failing to recognize that we played @ miami, FSU and Pitt in the front half of the season, and calling the home games in the second half a wash is ridiculous.

Below are my power rankings on ACC games this year. The 6 toughest games we have played/will play all came in the first 11 games of our conference schedule. 9 games of the first 12 that we have played came against matchups that are in the top 10 of the power ranking. Our last 8 games are all games against teams that rank close to the bottom of the power ranking. This isnt rocket science.

1 @ UNC
2. @ Duke
3. UNC
4. UVA
5. @ VT
6. @ Miami
7. @ WF
8. @ Pitt
9. @ FSU
10. @ Syracuse
11. Miami
12. @ GT
13. FSU
14. NCSU
15. Pitt
16. @ ND
17. Syracuse
18. GT
19. BC
20. louisville

Ahhh, shut down the debate and call names. Touche sir.

What are your power rankings then, since mine are so bad? Let's hear it.

Also, you are a huge proponent of the net ranking system, but also dont believe in home court advantage. Why do you think QUAD 1 away games are against teams with a NET rating if 1-75, while a quad 1 home game is against teams 1-30?

Lastly, our first 12 ACC games featured 6 quad 1 games, 3 quad 2 games, 2 quad 3 games, and 1 quad 4 game. Our last 8 games feature 1 quad 1 game, 2 quad 2 games, and 5 quad 3 games

It seems that you might be hung up on the word "frontloaded" meaning only the first ten games. This is flawed because having a front loaded schedule could still include games 11 and 12. Even so your argument still holds no water, troll.

First 10 games: 5 Q1, 2 Q2, 2 Q3, and 1 Q4
Last 10 games: 2 Q1, 3 Q2, 5 Q3

Hilarious that you constantly bash others basketball knowledge, yet you constantly get proved wrong.

I bet you are enjoying me ignoring you. You get to troll and make up bs to refute my comments, but i dont respond back proving you wrong. Your next comment should show your power rankings if you feel differently. If you dont want to have a serious conversation, then you will go back to being ignored.

This is a great opportunity for redemption down the stretch. We were favored in 8 of our 9 prior to the UNC game, and went 3-5 in those in that January you speak of (@ Duke the other). With Saturday's W @ Cuse we are 1-0 as a similar favorite in the last 8 of 9.

Go Tigers! More payback ahead Valentine's Night.

If there is anything we should have learned not to do that is count future wins in the Brown-L era.

There is, however, a difference between calling a game “winnable”, and outright claiming we will be 24-6 going into ACC tourney time.

That being said, I think we drop one we’re favored in at home, one we’re favored in on the road, and win at Wake. 6-2 final stretch.
