I’m amazed at how Cade went from not ready to MVP in one week.

I mean, our coaches who have won two national championships were surely right about Cade not being ready. I said it all year, DJ must be the best QB we have, or Cade would be playing more.
So we are left to marvel at this young QB named Klubnik who went from seldom used reserve to championship game MVP in less than a week. This has to be some kind of record for talent development!
Simply amazing.

That's snarky, but since you're fishing for TNet TU's I understand the motivation for your post.
At some point between N.Dame game (when Cade showed again that he wasn't ready from a decision-maker perspective to be a difference maker) and tonight's game he had improved enough to be ready.

You mean the game where he was put in the worst possible

And given the worst possible play to try and run… Deep in his own territory… And yanked after he threw an interception and yet shortly there after DJ threw a pick six and got to cruise to the rest of the game to defeat? That game?

And fumbled a pick six, but Cade wasn't ready? He was on his own 5yd line with an offense that was already sucking! Should gave been running run plays anyway at that point. Playcalling has beem absurd all year!

Coming in ice cold against a solid D and making a mistake while backed up at your own 5 yard line is no more confirmation that he wasn't ready than DJ's pick 6 a series or two later was confirmation that he was the answer.

Being on the 5 yard line isnt an excuse for that throw..

So you think we should of just thrown him back out there after that?
You do know true freshman grow during the season right? I imagine Cade has come a long way since that Notre Dame game.

I don't think Cade was ready earlier in the year. And DJ was playing well. But it was obvious when DJ was reverting to his old self. That should have been the time to get Cade ready. And yes we probably would have won last week.

Is the majority of the site the "Dabo cult"?
I mean geez ma'am, it's already Bern established you're in the Brad cult, party of 1.
It's not possible for anyone to be so ignorantly hypocritical. You're a troll, period.

Our leader can’t possibly be wrong, so the only logical conclusion is that Cade made a huge leap in development never before seen - a leap that even the finest coaching, strength program, mental visualization, and ostarine could not hope to achieve.

Let’s hope Cade doesn’t regress from this point in similar fashion.

As has been mentioned here numerous times this season

a look at our QB development under Dabo and Streeter doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.
Even Deshaun Watson saw his QB rating go down, his completion percentage go down, and his interceptions go up every year he was here.
Trevor regressed here based on some metrics as well. I believe it was Trent Dilfer who said that Trevor wasn’t coached well at Clemson on some of the basics.
What QBs can you point to who significantly improved while at Clemson? I can’t think of any in the last decade. That’s concerning. You would think we would’ve had at least one, right?

Dabo gets credit for our success, as well as our failures.
Some people here seem to think that his success excuses him from being responsible for our failures. That’s weird logic.

I just know if you can’t enjoy an ACC championship and a birth to the Orange Bowl you can’t be a Clemson fan. We have had an incredible run. 7 wins over our rival and positioned at the top of CFB. I’ve touted Club all year but he has showed plenty of flaws. He had a great game but that could all be timing. He also made critical errors against ND and was very lucky against Syracuse. Look at the film if you don’t recall.
Shots at Dabo do nothing but create negativity. We have a chance to finish very well this year.

The 2nd winningest coach in the CFP era must never lose!!
Yet, you blame fans and facilities, and not the coach, for the basketball program being mediocre and less during 12 years.
Such a transparent troll you are.

Wish Brownell's players could do that
Dec 4, 2022, 2:52 AM

including the true freshmen. I mean, we started Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence freshman year, game 1 right? No, they required some development and they showed more flashes of brilliance earlier than Klubnik did, like when Watson threw the TD to Peake vs UGA early in the 2014 season and Lawrence threw the TD to Higgins vs Texas A&M early in the 2018 season.
But some of us apparently know more about the player's progress than the coach's. Maybe we should pass some of that wisdom to the basketball coaches.

Dec 4, 2022, 4:35 AM

You can't justify chucking Cae out there with only 19 minutes left, when the chickens went up 1. No reason to bring in the backup at that point. We had 3 more possessions after that. DJ threw a terrible INT on the 2nd to last possession and would have been yanked if not for having only about 6 minutes left in the game.
So yeah, how about our OC now, troll?

Ha! Pushing the buttons!
You mentioned the 2 Natty Staff but I sm not sure any of them were there for both except for Dabo? U can assure you that this coaching will not let them see a 2nd or 3rd in their tenure unless they change some philosophies and player cues!!

You are showing your ignorance. Just like TL it took time for a freshman to be ready to play. Just admit you know nothing about coaching a football team and leave it professionals.
