I don’t normally post personal stuff like this but it would be nice for any fellow Tigers to remember my uncle kindly.
Wylie Brannen , class of ‘56, went on to glory. Wylie was a great husband, father, uncle, and the finest dancer I ever witnessed. He led an exemplary life dedicated to his family. Good Clemson man all around. I’m unable to attend his service, but my son will be there to lift him up to where the Blue Ridge yawns its greatness.
So if you would, send a prayer and kind thought to his family

Was the kind of uncle who could fix a carburetor while simultaneously advising every man on the street exactly what nutrients their lawn needed and mixing in the best mildly dirty jokes you’ve ever heard.
I never met him and I like him already. Godspeed Mr. Brannen.

Prayers and thoughts to the family.
