Clemson needs to fight like heck to get into the SEC. The Big 12 would be better than the ACC, but it will not provide the same interest that Clemson playing the SEC schools will. Now some Jack A can post "We will never be in the SEC, so get over it!" To that statement I will reply that it is correct, if we don't try.We will never have the football that everyone wants without getting in. We had better find a way to get in or we will regret it. The Big 12 is not geographically in our best interest and I 'm afraid we will get pushed around off the field by Texas and other Midwest teams. Find a way Mr. President and TDP!

else and especially Commissioner Swofford. If and when FSU and Clemson are offered by the Big XII, then Mr. Slive and SEC will call a vote and determine if and who they wish to offer membership to.

Maybe Clemson will end up in right place at right time and hopefully our administration has been active behind scenes ... we shall see soon.

the SEC one final chance to say no. If =, at that time, the SEC is still not interested then that is all you can do. You must then go with the next best option which in all liklihood will be the Big 12.

Point A to Point B? CBS and ESPN would have to foot the bill. We don't provide a new market, which is even more important when you want to set up a SEC Network. And though we are a good, solid program, if we are honest with ourselves, we would admit that we are not a marquee name program. Instead of telling Barker and TDP to "find a way", I think they'd appreciate a suggested way. I can't think of one. Don't misunderstand. I fully can identify with your misgivings about moving to the Big 12.
