Scientifically speaking, an important reminder...

Life needs few things to sustain and ensure its existence.
As humans...
1. Air [02] 2. H20 3. Food 4. Shelter 5. Defense [Physical, Microbial - Rest strengthens both, and other, exempli gratia, clothing] 6. Sex
Note: Sex is between a man and a woman, id est breeding. Sex is not between two dudes playing hide the sausage or enjoying long walks on the beach in prelude. Scientifically speaking that is not a need, a must have or requirement, it is factually abnormal and/or aberrant behavior. In biological terms, aberrant means what dafuque? Almost all life, plant and animal, specifically human here, breed because they are not biologically immortal.
I tell that story to tell this one.
In 7 short weeks according to O.J. time, as if there's any other, a much anticipated, welcome, new and beautiful Fall season of Tiger football will dawn its greatness. We shall all bear witness.
As a reminder, college football has not ever, is not now and will doubtfully never be a need - it just doesn't matter.
When Tommy Bowden and Rob Spence put Davis in for Merriweather - it just didn't matter.
When Chad Morris called a failed WR option pass after his smash-mouth spread had been hammering the dirt pecks - it just didn't matter.
When Famous Jameis after the 51-14 drilling lay claim to Death Valley as FSU's house - it just didn't matter.
When DW4 threw the pick in the end zone up 8 against Pittsburgh and a FG would have sealed the win - it just didn't matter.
When Notre Dame manhandled the Tiger defense in South Bend - it just didn't matter.
Should GR call a pass when the run was there all game or run when obviously he should have called a pass - it just won't matter.
Should WG and the defense turn in another pedestrian game performance or finish the season outside the top 10 - it just won't matter.
If it is not a need - it just does not matter.
Life, follow the science here and try to enjoy it.
Let's hope this is the last we speak of it.

So true. Folks should enjoy the ride and remember how fortunate we were to see two nations championship, and the rise of a wide receivers coach.

I get it, and though it may amass an impassioned following, in this realm it will find no purchase.
Spit-balling here of course, but if you put forth an argument that man is an animal, which he is, and as such primally driven by these needs, then at times man will revert to hunter-gatherer. Because man has become good at what he does, he goes to where he can find all of the required needs that sustain life.
A football game does in fact have these mandatories, including good hunting grounds for sex, which oddly enough means six in Latin. God does not play dice with the universe; there are no coincidences.
Speaking of Crash Test Dummies, I hope you'll understand...

I did not read this, but would argue that #6 should be a privilege for some, too many stupids threatening humanity's future.
I mean it takes years of school and trainings to learn to maintain a jet engine, we leave that to the experts. Children are infinitely more complicated, which is why #6 should be left to experts as well, for the good of the species, especially being that the smartest and fastest are no longer allowed to bludgeon the competition to death for, again, #6.

To be great in all things, by letting the light/love of God shine through them in every area of their life through excellence.
That they’ll always be apart of a team with an even bigger purpose their whole life, that football is important but showing love to one another by working together to achieve a standard of best in all things.
That we will have trouble & struggles but keep letting your light shine through the darkness. Nothing is less important than the score at halftime,
It’s what makes Clemson so special and why our fans and teams strive to be the best!
