to the championship game in the ACC tourney. What is the highest seed in the NCAA do y'all think is possible. As this is subjective I won't hold anyone's feet to the fire for one's opinion! Personally I think a 5 seed would be our ceiling, even though we could beat quite a few of those that will be seeded above us!

I'm thinking 3-5 seed. Especially if the ACCT final is close. Let's hope it

If we win all of those, we would be 24-7 overall, 14-6 in the ACC. That would almost definitely put us as a top 4 seed in the ACC Tournament and a double bye.
Losing in the ACC Championship title game would mean we went 2-1 in the ACC Tournament, so our record going into Selection Sunday would be 26-8. We would have won 10 of our last 11 games. We would have no bad losses and lots of good wins.
Based on the fact that we would likely be a 6 or 7 seed if the NCAA Tournament started today, I think it's reasonable that we would be a 3 or 4 seed in your scenario.

We have zero quad 4 losses. GT has a 97 net ranking and are 2-4 against quad 1 teams. So the loss against GT is not great, it is also not considered a bad loss.

You are talking about Florida State.
Georgia Tech's NET is 140, not 97. It's a Quad3 loss. That means "bad loss".

Best case scenario is probably a 3, would take an extraordinary run. I'm guessing we end up on the 5 or 6 line, which would be great. Hopefully we can keep it rolling at home this week against a few talented teams.

We are a consensus 6 seed right now, borderline 5 seed.
If we win 10 of 11 games before the NCAAT including an ACCT championship appearance, I'd expect us to be a 3 seed.

That's fools gold. Just when you think BB has turned the corner, he wilts down the home stretch. These two consecutive wins that unexpectedly came are very deceptive. He's done this for 14 years, remember that. The Tigers have 8 games remaining in the regular season then the ACC Tournament. They are 16-7 overall, 6-6 in the conference. From what I can see in the schedule, no way they go through the rest of the way winning all 8 games. That's just not BB's legacy at Clemson. Historically, he falters after winning in the ACC after 2 consecutive wins this late in the year. I see 4-4 the rest of the way, or possibly 5-3. This puts them at 20-11, or 21-10 before the ACC tournament, with a 11-9 or 10-10 conference record. In order to get to March Madness, Clemson has to at least get to the finals in order to get an NCAA bid. There are just too many teams in the country with better conference records who have 20 wins. Under BB, they HISTORICALLY don't get to the ACC finals. This is his history coaching there, and history tends to repeat itself after so many years of the same results. His pattern historically tells me that. If BB wins the remainder his regular season games, Clemson is in. That's a 24-7 record, and a 14-6 conference record. That's a sure NCAA bid. But we know his pattern, so running the table is not in the cards. History is a great teacher, and 13 years of repeat performances says a lot. Yes, history is a great teacher.

Linardi said on ESPN last Saturday Clemson is in and that the committee does not consider conference record as an element for selection. The non-conference strength of schedule is good. Alabama and South Carolina continue to win. Boise State is in the mix. This team may lose a game or two down the stretch but, to your dismay, there will not be a total collapse. Clemson gets in the tournament, Brownell gets and extension and the Lunatic Fringe Clubhouse burns down.
From Brandon Rink:
Record: 16-7 Road/neutral record: 8-4 Strength of schedule: 8 Record vs. NET Quadrant 1: 4-5 (Wins: 85-77 at No. 5 Alabama; 80-76 at No. 10 UNC; 74-66 versus No. 42 TCU; 79-70 at No. 60 Pitt) Quadrant 3/4 losses: 1 (93-90 to No. 140 GT at home) Result-based metric average: 14.5 Predictive metric average rank: 30 NET ranking: 30 Non-conference record: 10-1
This resume does not get left out of the tournament.

That is highly unlikely but good for discussion. If we can win 75% of the rest of our games I'll bee gleeful. The biggest thing I want to see is us protecting our home floor the rest of the way. Grab a few road wins and will be great.

I do! I've already got the 6BR, 4000 acre place in Montana picked out! My wife said she isn't moving there, I said OK, what's your point?

It is not just about our record, it will be about the records of 20 more teams by Selection Sunday. In your scenario, we would have at least 26 wins and with an ACC Tournament Championship, we would be Top 10 and would be a 3 or 4 seed easily.
