for a lady Tiger in a LPGA event with a finishing round of 68 for a T4th. The one downer was an overly aggressive wedge on 18 landing on the green but going into the water. The tricked up greens were impossible to stop the ball landing past the hole and the elevation changes were so severe the greens had to be kept at 9.5 on the Stemp meter or were unputtable. Normally, the Stemp plays at 11-12 for the ladies. In her defense, a closing birdie would have had her finishing solo second. She played confident and her short game was stellar. The British announcer even referenced "University of Clemson" a couple of times. Congratulations to Savannah for a great tournament in only her SECOND start.
Yeah we were having fun with it under skeeta56 posts. 18 was ashamed since it was her only blemish today. You could definitely make the case she could have won had she played the par 5's in -2 instead of -4. But it was fun to see her not only get airtime, but nearly every shot. Special.
