I wouldn't either, actually the 3:30 time slot is my favorite by far. I love the 3:30 time slot for our Clemson Tigers to play a FB game!!!

To me Golf is the early game bc of two types of playing surfaces. In the morning golfers will have a damp surface that is usually completely dry by no later than 10 am. Have a group to start the early game one day, and the other group to start in the morning the next day giving both groups a damp and dry start....

If on the road I can hunt before and after the game. Entire day is taken up going to and from a noon home game- not that bad but prefer having more flexibility in my day.

Cause it greatly depends on where one resides. If you live in the upstate then noon games may be your cup of tea; those along the SC coast - not so much. If you have young children attending you have to depart well before dawn and even then it typically takes at least an hour from I-85 exit to arrive at tailgate lot simply due to traffic congestion for noon games.

Games at 3:30 work great! Can leave at a reasonable hour with grand kids, traffic on Clemson Blvd not an huge problem, enjoy pregame tailgating, be in seats for the hill run, and if (as usual!) Tigers are well ahead, depart a little early and be back in the Lowcountry by 11pm. A perfect full day of Clemson Tiger football!
