the coots want to hire him as soon as available

talking about it on the radio this morning and had threads about it on their message boards. They want to hire him as an "analyst" until the hoopla dies down and in a year or so when a position coach leaves, put him there. They think that will minimize negative recruiting against it.

anyone who wants him should analyze this- he and his staff killed a guy. period. You may want that in a hit man. you may even find it understandable in law enforcement or security give certain circumstances. But when you do that as a coach? even old school coaches w no water breaks years ago didnt do that.

Sadly true. when they hire bounty hunter guys like Vilma you realize no barrel bottom is too low to scrape. I even cringe at Mack Brown. Never did anything wrong particularly but is just annoying and awful on tv.

I met him in person, our company was doing him a favor for free. He was a jerk.

Kendal Briles is coaching right now, so probably.

He's likely going to have to take a job as an assistant though.

I think once details come out he will get a job

Seems like he's more of a scapegoat than anything else. It was mostly the strength coach to blame. But UMD is full of liberal vajayjays who want everyone gone any time anything happens. TRIGGERED!

Maybe they can hire the first vajayjay head coach. Lbb was asked about this by gf#1 in an earlier thread. It would make great answer for lbb.

Seems to me the death rightfully came back to roost as this doorstep. He didn't just condone the coaching style used by the strength coach, he embraced it and advocated it. He was reckless and negligent not to see a dangerous situation. Anyone with half a brain knows the old school ways are not only dangerous, but counter productive. So if a half brainer like me knows it, surely a professional should know it.
A kid died on his watch. End of story.
Sadly, I think he will be hired as an assistant somewhere.

He'll end up at Nick Saban's home for wayward coaches

well with Gene Smith as AD that would be quite a trifecta. Wonder how many scandals and problems they could create
