On the second down wr screen call in overtime. Horse dung call. Totally idiotic. Waste of a down

For no gain. But it we are being truthful, it's not Riley calling these plays ...

Love how some here hate Dabo for being overly optimistic about this team. They say it is coach speak and they don't like it. Then when he shares how he feels about comments regarding people not liking his coach speak, they dislike him even more because he shared his true thoughts. On top of those two, he states last night, and rightfully so, that the team got what they earned. They then bash him again for being truthful.
What is he supposed to do? And don't say he should shut up and coach, because the you wouldn't like that he is not speaking about the team.

How about take the responsibility for the losses like Mack Brown did last night ?
His salary shows he took responsibility for the wins

In play calls and being predictable. You are clueless like the coaches.

Not impressed with Riley whatsoever. Who here thinks that he has done any better of a job than Steeter could have done this year.

Looks like the same offense to me with a few slight variations. Of course, we ran the ball better last year. Both OC’s are limited by personnel.

I want you to read what you just posted. “I’m not impressed with Riley”, then you go on to say nothing has changed since Streeter. The playcalling is identical.

My friend has it ever occurred to you that nothing has changed because although the face of blame has been shifted the man behind the curtain has not?

Watching Blake Miller literally get pushed aside was telling.

Lack of development, training, or simply a recruiting evaluation gone wrong, Austin ain’t getting it done. But who’s even surprised? He was in over his head since the beginning.

Miller was much better last year, meaning he was coached up in HS, definitely much worse this year - of all the problematic assistants, Austin, or at least Austin's results, are the worst.

Its the same offense as the last few years

Oct 22, 2023, 10:00 AM

You really want Riley fired? It’s Dabo calling the plays. So call for him to be fired not Riley.

Ultimately all the issues we have fall in Dabo.

It’s interesting how the pumpers twist and turn to try to come up with reasons to not blame Dabo for turnovers, poor Play-calling, boneheaded plays by players.

It’s all on Dabo. He built the program because the fans were willing to spend the money and invest.

There is absolutely no way you can keep Austin after this season.

Re: Riley should have been fired

I'm normally reluctant to call for somebody's job but there's no way around this one. I don't remember seeing so many OL and TE run by a defender that they should have picked up in my life. There was one play last night where Briningstool absolutely ignored the scraping edge defender coming down the line. Either, that's what they are coached to do or he's making a terrible read on who to block, which still goes back to coaching.

The OL is passing up way too many free defenders in the run game. Sadler and Miller both got turned into subway turnstiles by pass rushers last night.

I know Riley and Dabo are ultimately responsible for the offensive scheme and development but this OL group just isn't winning any battles when they really matter.

If only one coach could be let go, I'd start there.

Riley’s scheme don’t work without an offensive line he has to go out of that cause our line is so bad

I don’t think Dabo will ever fire Austin. He can’t recruit, and obviously he can’t develop.

Calling for Riley’s job is actually crazy lol.

His QB is clueless. His RBs are slow. His WRs and OL are among the worst groups in the ACC. And he has inexperienced assistants responsible for developing the offensive personnel.

We have bad players on offense. Very few future NFL draft picks on that side of the ball.
