had been fired by Saban 8 days b/4 our Natty game and chose current Texas HC Sark as his game OC..

and the overall poor results really helped Clemson win since he made a lot of bad decisions in his O calls..

while his freshman QB Hurts was ineffective passing (again) and in 4th Qtr Jalen rolled out and without finding an open WR he threw the ball away time & again and went 0-15 on 3rd downs.

And, our D outplayed their supposedly better D while DW4 and Boys took it to them for the last second win!

He wasn’t fired. He had taken the Florida Atlantic HC job and Saban told him to go ahead and get started.
