won the ACC in 2016 with Jack Leggett's players but then couldn't do anything else after that. Oh what might have been had Jack not been fired. That team he had assembled and recruits coming in including Raleigh and Beer was built for a deep run. dan radakovich'a ego stole that away from us

Moral to that story is people got what they asked for and that was to fire Leggett and hire a new coach. I wonder what people will be saying 3 or 4 years from now about our new coach?

I’m gonna get flamed for this but here goes. I thought Coach Leggett was very good. Had great players! But in his last few seasons, I saw more base running issues than ever before. Caught between bases stealing, picked off first a lot. It carried over to Coach Lee for more years. It cost ballgames. Blow me up if you want but I saw it!! Loved both coaches but that made me pull my last 3 hairs out of my head. And, trying to play long ball killed us when opponents manufactured runs. And then our past few seasons, offense went so flat. Pitching??, no improvement. Needed those guys too. Go Tigers!

me off too. Jack was a great recruiter.he could have retired and passed on his recruiting connections to Monty while being ambassador to the program. Monty might still be there if that happened
