I’ve noticed everybody we are talking to are backups nobody else wanted! 3 stars not even ranked in the top 400. Especially on offensive line. Curious why we are striking out against teams we use to win in recruiting with. Like USC got the top 2 linemen in the state over us. How? Not like they can say “ we are winning champions “ 🤣🤣. From what I hear other teams are playing us down and putting bad vibes in recruits ears. Maybe it’s time Dabo stops playing nice guy and starts telling it like it is to recruits as well! When everyone’s bashing u , it’s time to set the record straight! In case those are wondering …. Other teams are putting us down at offensive line and saying we don’t develop or put into the NFL!

There are many 4 and 5 star athletes who wouldn’t be good Clemso men, and there many 2 and 3 star athletes who would be quality young men. I appreciate that Dabo sees beyond the stars. All coots can see are stars.

I guess Ohio State & the coots are ganging up while they can because they know it’s coming & it’s about to get real as our Tigers are going to win Championships again this season!
Big blue will kick Ohio states tail again & most of the SEC will go to the coots well to pick up another win as Shane struggles again!

I believe their fans put more energy into hating all things Clemson than they do paying attention to their own issues.
Really hate Dabo decided to keep DJ in for that 2nd half.

far as USuK getting a couple we wanted, NEVER underestimate the value of winning that game at the end of the regular season. Every time they pull out a win, even a gifted one, THEIR recruiting takes an uptick. That is why it IS important to win the State Championship every year.
Butt, again, as far as USuk vs us recruiting, there are just pockets in this state that seem to be completely brainwashed, whole families who are infected with Cootism. And, the kids of those families, if talented at all athletically, seem to gravitate toward Cootlumbia, to their own detriment, irregardless of what other, better football schools have to say on the matter.

Cherry picking a couple of recruiting misses to fit a narrative is no way to go through life.
You essentially bashed an entire recruiting class of blue chip recruits who chose Clemson over Bama, Ohio St., Etc...and all the meaningless schools that will never sniff a National Championship 🏆.

Probably due to all the name calling and negative comments about our players. Guys don’t want to play for spoiled, entitled brat fans. And boy do we have a lot of them. Like the guys last year who called DJ “el Stinko”. There is no excuse for a supposed adult to talk that way about a kid.

While we haven’t gotten some of the super elite players we have wanted recently, we are still getting some very talented players that plenty of other programs wanted.
If you look at the rankings, our recruiting hasn’t “taken a plunge.”
With that said, we do seem to have lost some momentum when compared to previous classes. The concern I have is in terms of quality depth. A huge part of our success during those playoff runs was our depth. We don’t seem to have that like we used to, and that is concerning with all of the players we like to play.
The lack of quality depth also hurts us since Dabo seems determined not to use the portal. If he’s relying on our depth to save us, he better recruit better than anyone and find a way to keep most of them. Otherwise, we will continue our recent streak of being a tier behind the truly elite teams that contend for national championships.

I have 100% confidence in saying that we have the best recruiter in the country in Coach Swinney. The culture and development that he has established speaks volumes that resonates with recruits and parents all across the country. I believe that we are in the rear view mirror in terms of NIL simply because we cannot compete with other programs who are willing to open their checkbooks. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that and that's just the way it is in the landscape of college athletics today. Before NIL, we were literally getting the pick of the litter because athletes were lining up to come to Clemson. Now that NIL is in effect, our recruiting has dipped a good bit, especially on the offensive side of the ball. As frustrating as things are now, I completely applaud Coach Swinney for not jeopardizing the integrity and culture of the program that he has built. At then end of the day, he cant put a gun to these kids' heads and make them commit.

Our state does not usually produce very many top notch players year in and year out. I doubt if all 3 of these players that chose to be coots will pan out to be more than just average.
