Is it just me,or does it feel like recruiting has dropped off ever since Jordyn Adams committed to UNC?Carman attended FNL,Eagles to Texas and today Lacey to ND.Something needs to happen to speed this thing back up.

I think Adams and eagles were expected to go where they weren't respectively. Lacey is a little surprise but I think we got in a little late but he is 19 class with Kelley on hot seat we can def flip him. Other than that I think we are on track to land a good portion of our top prospects. I think we land Henry, I got a gut feeling we land Salyer, and I think we land Carmen/ross idk I don't know if I see both but we are very high with both. I don't see us landing Trey Hill Clemson's recruiting is still right on track tho I see no need to hit panic or alarm button yet, these top guys usually commit aftwr semior season if they don't commit early or during summer period.

I was sort of feeling the pain too, but landing players like Sayler, Henry, Carman, Campbell,
Ross, Cook and others..
is going take some patience.

Exactly I left out Campbell which I think we land but will experience recruiting. We tell these kids if your not 100% it's ok go visit other schools bc they know most come back bc nothing like clemson so with these elite guys patience is needed they like the recruiting game and who can hold that against them I would if I was a big name recruit even though I know I would be a Tiger.

I think there's about a 0% chance we land Campbell. If you follow his Twitter feed at all, he posted positive things about his visits to Georgia, FSU and Alabama, but NOT A SINGLE WORD on how the AIC went, or that he was even in attendance. Cook is a higher possibility, but it's still very low, like <10%. Carman I think is probably 20-25%, just depending on how bad he wants to get out of Ohio, if his statements made earlier this year weren't just ploys for attention, Salyer I think is maybe 40%, lot of in State pressure to go to UGA, but Trevor Lawrence keeps us alive. Ross is 50-50%, can't really tell. He likes Trevor a lot, but he likes that new Auburn QB for 2018 Joey Gatewood a lot too. Henry is the best shot, probably 80% or so, but will become more difficult if some school eventually hires his dad as a coach, which is likely to happen. Now I'm not saying at all to hit the panic button on our recruiting. I completely trust our staff to finish off this class with the best, high character players they can find, not to mention 2018 is already LOADED. But don't get your hopes up too high and become disappointed if we don't land all these days. It can happen, but the likelihood right now just doesn't seem great imo

Nobody gets everybody they want. Nobody. Not even Alabama. This staff did not need a single #1 recruiting class to beat the multiple #1 recruiting classes that Alabama had. This staff is taking a small class this year and being very selective about it. They will get who they need to win and their development is second to none. Grady Jarrett, Adam Humphries, Jaron Brown and Hunter Renfrow all say hello. There are others but 3 out of the 4 are currently drawing NFL paychecks. HTH
