FSU/Miami/Clemson/UNC/NC State/UVA/VT all move TOGETHER to the Big12 with the agreement that Fox pays us at least 80% of whatever the current B1G per team payout is.
Keep a southern pod TOGETHER and get enough to complete nationally.

make our move. Everyone seems to think we need a package deal? Why is that? Plenty of potential rivlaries within the SEC, which is really the only destination we should be looking at. I would urge everyone to look at Nebraska's total lack of success in the BIG, as a cautionary tale against making THAT move. Long travel times, and absolutely NO regional rivalries at all.

I prefer we have locals for the non-revenue sports. I'd also say that we should strive to keep the Southeastern Atlantic states together for viewership/homebase reasons. Adding North Carolina and Virginia just makes sense. Otherwise we become West Virginia, always playing teams a time zone away in all sports.
I'd also state I doubt we get an SEC invite.

No North Carolina teams. We are under their rule now. But, we would have to bring a couple. Maybe Duke and Wake.

GOR is for enough teams to leave at once. Was 8 before the extra 3 joined so not sure if it’s 9 or what now. My thought is something like this happens Clemson, FSU to SEC, UNC, UVA. Ga Tech, Miami to BIG 10 and Louisville, Pitt, Va Tech, NC State to Big 12. That shows do it. Cuse and BC have 0 chance at any conference and Duke has its basketball so not sure there. Wake is a tiny academic school that has maybe some Football cred and Baseball so doubt any appeal to any conference.

Of course Clemson to the SEC is preferred, Clemson to the B1G would be second. I propose this as I don't think we will get an invite to either.

As someone who grew up with the Old SWC, and the Big 12, I would absolutely hate this. The original Big 12 had plenty of road venues that got stale quick, and teams you couldn’t care less about playing (OSU, ISU, Kansas, Tech, Baylor, etc.) and it’s managed to get even worse. Purely from a money standpoint, your plan would help, but from a fan interest standpoint, I think it would be worse than the current ACC.
