Don’t want them to win an ACC Championship and don’t want them in the playoff.
Also, they will get destroyed by the #1 spot. I’d rather another team be there for a better game.

We are done with FSU this year so who cares. If we still had to play them I would understand your logic. Winning or losing the ACC this year doesn't effect how they are next year. I don't like either team but FSU stands no chance in a playoff with a 2nd string QB. If Travis were healthy I would pull for them but as it is Louisville for me ( and I can't stand Louisville). I am not going to be an ACC chanter for the sake of seeing an unhealthy FSU in the playoff.

Yeah I saw that. I hate all the conference chanters. I like teams not conferences. Clemson wins and none of it matters anyway. I hate all the SEC incest that goes on week in and week out. TN fan loves AL fan when they play OOC that is not a rivalry it is conference chanting and I hate that crap. ESPN has conditioned CFB fanbases that conferences are more important than rivalry and teams. I hate that crap.

Nothing to do with FSU and everything to do with shilling for AL AND GA to be in the playoff. They need to sow doubt to make their dream happen. If it wasn't FSU it would be someone else. Do you think they promote Texas over AL? Nope. They spent 30 min of the selection show listing all the ways AL could get in and it was sickening. ESPN is not neutral when their money depends on SEC success.

Why do you think Missouri is ranked in the top 10 when they have barely slipped past Middle Tennessee State, Memphis, and 5-7 Florida?
The better the SEC performs the more respect their teams get. It's all about image. The SEC is 4-6 against the ACC this year but the image is the SEC is always superior because their best teams perform well. It is good for Missouri when Bama/UGA are great or perform well. That is not unique to one conference. The same happens in the Big 10 when OSU/Michigan are great.

Couldn't disagree more.... We need an ACC team in the CFP. We are better the better the conference is. We were so close to beating them.... just like we were in 1999. In both games, we missed a field goal with less than one minute left in the game to win it in 2023 and to tie it in 1999. I hope FSU goes on to win the National Championship like they did in 1999.
You should want every team you play to be undefeated..... even the Cooters. So its a huge win and if it doesn't work out, it takes some of the sting away. Now... I realize that emotion will come into play here and most will say I'm an idiot, but that is an emotional response, not a logical one. I'll take it one step further.... I would rather go 11-1 and lose to the cooters than go 1-11 and beat them.
I also like Bret.... He's been a great contributor to this board and pulls for Clemson. He makes it easier rooting for the Noles.
We got Brad Scott from the Noles (and Cooters).

I am glad that it would not occur to me to root AGAINST a team of young athletes. If you truly want to root for their opponents - fair game. But to root against someone - no thanks.
That having been said, I think FSU would be in real trouble in the CFP. I think Oregon, Texas, or Bama would give us a better game.
