while I'm hoping for the best, one good season in 2023/24 doesn't make-up for 13 years of mostly mediocre results. Maybe that's just me because, clearly, the university administration doesn't give a ****.

...we are in the ACC, a notoriously great basketball conference. There have been 67 ACC tournaments minus the break for a cold virus. We've never won it. We've had maybe 20 players in 68 yrs that would have started for the tobacco road schools. They get McDonalds All Americans by accident. Duke has won it 22 times and UNC 18, NCSU 9, and Wake 4. We are the Vanderbilt of the SEC. We finished the 22-23 season 4th in the standings. That is a huge accomplishment. Syracuse and Louisville have won the Big East tournament multiple times but never even made the finals in the ACC.
We have 1 former player in the NBA. Duke has 23. Cut Coach Brownell some freaking slack.
