Two super conferences.. and this will likely be a football only merger. And ND will join the B1G/ACC merger.. and players will be paid openly and in exchange there will be tight transfer restrictions.

I could live with a football only merger and then keep our other sports in ACC. The conference is good in Soccer, softball, Gymnastics, track, baseball, basketball, etc.

as they exist b/c of the football program. 19 programs enjoy a parasitical association/relationship with the football program & 12 by virtue of irrationally forced mandates seeded by followers of the leftist idealogy that now champions the 'transformer' crazed ghoul's right to compete against women in collegiate athletics. The NLRB ruling against Dartmouth is a bigger story. It ruled the basketball players can be considered employees. Unionization and collective bargaining are soon to follow. College sports are DOA.

I don't see it. I do see the P2 happening, but there's not much value in the ACC outside of the obvious few, and no real value out of the Big 12 which is essentially a glorified G5 at this point.

Couple of questions.

Why should Michigan, OSU, Penn St, Ore, USC, et. al. want to split revenue with Wake and BC and Duke and Cuse and Pitt, etc.? They have Northwestern and Purdue already. Why should they want to bring in more welfare recipients who will just be a drain on their pocketbooks?

The Big and SEC will probably break away from the NCAA ..both may add a few teams. The remaining teams will be left in CFB purgatory, playing the meaningless bowl games ..

The Problem I Have With That Scenario

…is teams like Vanderbilt, South Carolina, etc being in the Premier League. Speaking of which, why not introduce relegation into the mix? Fail to keep up? Down you go, along with the size of your check.
