Apparently our record is only 10th best in all of FBS the since the start of the 2021 season following our record 6-straight CFP appearance seasons.

I love this program and coaches.
Doesn't bother me one bit that they have slipped a little the last few years. I believe in Dabo and have great confidence Clemson will be a top 5 team again very soon.

We are the only one besides Bama perhaps that
would have a downtrend arrow next to them. I would say Bamas is more sideways at this point.

We were 4-3 in 2021 after the loss at Pitt. They were the eventual ACC champions that year, and we had Doofus Juice at QB.
Were we to venture down to Miami and take down the Hurricanes Saturday, and by looking at the numbers of tix available and the basement prices it's not looking like they're going to have much of a rocking home crowd at their backs, we'd be 5-2 and, just like that, by the numbers, trending back up and returning to the norm. For a spell. We certainly wouldn't be losing any ground there.

Why are you still name calling DJ?
DJ loved Clemson....gave his all...was a good teammate....his peers loved him, he coaches loved him....
He was 21 and 5 as Clemson starter....
The kid was ALL IN....
Might not of quite worked out how you wanted but DJ WAS NOT THE PROBLEM AND HE DID EVERYTHING THE RIGHT WAY...

Many fair points there and DJ it is.
He was problematic at QB here though and did factor into our limitations on offense during most of his tenure. I do hope he grows from the experience and breaks through that barrier. His numbers, and record, were all better at CU last year to date than what he's doing this season, even though it doesn't quite fit the narrative out there. Fortunately for us CK is performing ahead of DJ's sophomore ('21) pace to date. I certainly hope that continues.

Of the 26 teams ranked in front of us only 2 are starting a qb in only his second year in college (UCLA and PSU). Their qbs also came into the season with experience in 10 games. UCLA is also 4-2. PSU in 6-0. Clemson has played the 13th hardest schedule. UCLA the 27th and Penn State the 36th. It’s almost like qb experience matters and we’re starting over after the DJU era.

Take out non P5 games and I believe we would be up 2 spot. Air Force, UTSA and Fresno drop, PSU probably moves ahead.

What's crazy, is that many on here were saying: "this is a great run, enjoy it as long as we can." Unless you're a complete buffoon, and you know who we are, you knew it had to decline at some point. But, our cycling out is winning 8-9, where cycling out used to be win 9 go to the Peach bowl, lose, then win 4 games the next year.
I wish we were at the level we were, but we aren't. We'll get back.
