I would never grill fish only to then cook it more in a pan.

The stuff in the pan looks great, should have just grilled the swordfish completely and then placed it on top of said pan concoction.
And no grill marks don’t go away, only the char will wash off but if it’s seared that won’t fade. The problem here is you are trying not to overcook the fish (bc pan after) so the grill was very brief.

I agree, but the fish cooks in the pan for 15 min in white wine garlic, tomato, shallots, lemon juice, and white beans
You don’t just pan that over grilled fish and get the same dish.
