Could you imagine? That piece of history is irreplaceable.

I mean, even a Greenville Tech graduate would've done a better job than that. The only humor of the situation is how miserably they failed. LOL

Howard's Rock II?....Kind of like Georgia with UGA....Not the original, but a darn, good replacement. Of course, that would occur after we lit up the skies with old-timey Clemson fire and brimstone!

could have been so much worse if they had stolen it. By stealing a piece out of
the rock, it's like it has multiplied in its value to us. It will never be taken for granted by Tiger Nation !!

All I can say is I would be royally pissed if the whole thing was stolen, yeah they took a chunk, but 75-80% is still there, it could have been worse! I hope the University will take the proper measures (i.e. $300 worth of video cameras) to insure that something of this magnitude does not happen again , there is waaaay too much history and tradition that is connected with this geological icon! We will persevere and get over this heinous act and I think the football team will play with the missing chunk on their shoulders, GO TIGERS and I can't feel sorry for the teams that will feel the wrath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
