player in the several games I have watched that just does not seem to be on the level with the rest of the team. He appears to get winded quickly, and gets manhandled out there as well. What am I missing, that he is getting playing time?

He is doing exactly what he was brought in to do. Play in short stretches and give PJ some rest. Play D, rebound, any points are a bonus. Plus he 'knows his role". He's not gonna ##### about playing time. No, he's not a star, but he wasn't expected to be. He is what we thought he was. and that's not a bad thing.

This exactly. CBB said something about Bas early in the season like: "Not sure about his athleticism in ACC play, but he has the game IQ we need."

He's 11th on the team in minutes played, avg 6 min per game. He's only played

That was supposed to be Middlebrooks’ role, but Ben went to NC State so we went out and got another.

He has done a good job for us.

It's taken him longer than Brad thought to adjust from playing in wooden clogs to Nike shoes. Give him time.

He has a limited role and seems to be filling that role ok. He's never gonna be a big cog on this team.
