What if Florida state leaves, acc sues them them for hundreds of millions. Then distributes that money to the acc teams to decrease the revenue gap

We get more money, win the acc every year, automatic playoff bid

Maryland has shown that debt doesn't have to be paid.***

There's something in these hills.

What happened with that? Did they pay anything?***

I think they paid around $20M after they countersued and reached a settlement. The ACC wanted double that amount. Different GOR/Contract, but a figure that was negotiated down.

Yeah that’s peanuts if it’s all it takes. I wonder if them leaving and the ACC adding another team to fill their place changes anything for teams like Clemson who want to get out

Maryland wasn't in the ACC when this GOR was signed.***

Exactly. #'s will be larger based on existing GOR.

Here's some fantasy I just imagined: What if the ACC tore up the contract, brought in Baylor, WVa, OK State, and Texas Tech. Then renegotiated revenue sharing and bumped the $ up to Big level. That's what I'd like to see.

But if not, sadly, it may be time to leave.

I would rather travel to Texas for an away game than Ohio.

Imagine how many Ohioans you would pass on the drive from SC to Ohio
