Every team in the country can consistently run it for a few yards. We are lucky to gain at all and are often in danger of getting it picked off or fumbled. We are the keystone cops of that play. If best is the standard then ditch it or run it right. Slow getting out, not blocking waiting till the corner crashes in to throw the ball. It is just ridiculous.

we should rip that page right out of our playbook. can't block for it and can't get it to the wr in a timely/catchable manner. However, our OC will just keep going to the fail of a play knowing we can't execute it.

It has been proven every game that is not a good play yet we keep using it. I just don't understand that reasoning but, hey, I'll take the win.

A chunk of them are from poor blocking at WR, a chunk is from poor reads from the QB on RPOs, and a chunk is because the QB can’t consistently make the right throw based on the coverage.

Honestly, TLaw was the only QB we have had that could deliver the ball to the WR fast enough to make that play work and even then it was an underperforming play. It did not work when DW4 or KB2 were at the helm either. I assume it exists to keep the defense from stacking the box, but man does it stink. You need a QB with a lightning fast deliver and a WR with take-any-play-to-the-house kind of moves. We have not had that guy since Sammy Watkins, but for some reason have stuck with the play.

Agreed and why do we always run it when the defense is playing press coverage and they are right on top of our receivers? If we ever run it again this year and, I am sure we will, can we at least run it when the defense is giving our receivers a cushion at the line.
