when an umpire points at a player while he runs the bases and taunts an opposing player? Announcers die not know.

and would like to know more about it. Umpires pointing at players is not a thing unless it is to throw them out of the game but maybe this is something new

When Poultry (or is Petry?) homered in the ninth yesterday he was chirping at our infielders as he rounded the bases. Umpire pointed at him and said something. Then he had a conversation with the coot coaches.

I am sure it wasn't pleasantry exchanged between he and the infielders.

But pointing at him, and not doing anything, seems odd. Had to have been a warning or something, but usually that is obvious and not just between umpire and that team coaches. I have no clue

To only have lead for what 3 of the 20.5 innings played this weekend, the coots sure did a lot of chirping. Coots gonna coot

I didn't see either game, but from what I'm hearing, it's sounds a lot like the KY football team during the bowl.

When the umpire warns like that it is not specific to that player. It is normally a warning to the team.
