Being nationally recognized, even at 3rd team, is an honor. But, Davis is a 1st round DT talent. When he is healthy he's just as nasty as Bresee! In 2019 he had 44 tackles and 5.5 sacks. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play this year and for many years to come in the NFL. The sky's the limit with Davis.

Reminds me of Grady Jarrett. A good healthy year would do wonders for Tyler's reputation and draft status.

We are a much better defense with Davis in the middle. Breese, Murphy, Davis, XT, and KJ - that's a lot of fire power.

Will Bresee come back for another year of college FB after this coming season. Even though he will be a red shirt sophomore this season, I'm wondering if he will return to Clemson after this season. I do think the rule is 3 years after HS before a HS FB player could be NFL eligible. I also think that Bresee is one of those kids that I actually believe could have went to the NFL out of HS if not for the 3 year eligibility rule.
I think that a NFL team would have taken Bresee in the early rounds, put him in a program that they would have had if not for the 3 year rule, and had him ready to be a top back up guy, or maybe a starter, depending on what they had in whatever position Bresee plays the best...
Back to my original question, will Bresee be back after this season being his 3 years are up after this coming season. I sure hope he loves Clemson enough to stay another year after this one. I'm also thinking that he may stay bc of being close to his sister, and family....

But no way he is the only 1st team worthy player on the Tigers!! Myles Murphy, Tyler Davis & Trenton Simpson are easily as deserving as Bresee! They all deserve to be on the 1st team! By seasons end it will be all 4 of them on 1st team and Xavier Thomas, Andrew Mukuba, Barret Carter & possibly KJ Henry as 2nd team if XT doesnt sneak in to 1st team also. This is about to be the best defensive class Clemson has ever had! Looking so forward to seeing this defense!! Go Tigers!!
