Wild start for Softball

3 errors in 1st inning alone in Top 1st plus Cagle giving up leadoff HR got NC State up 5-0.
Tigers responding some w/ Clark getting to 3rd on wild pitches, Cagle bringing her home, then Logoleo hitting 2 run bomb to narrow deficit.
Our girls need to clean up these errors...can't be an elite team shooting yourself in the foot to that extent

Is there any news about Julia Knowler? She hasn’t played in many games. Teams will continue to pitch around Cagle without her in the lineup.

No, I can't find anything. Knowles posted yesterday on her Instagram account that she was the DP yesterday. Not sure why she would've been scratched at the last minute. Something is off.

Been out all week (wasn't in lineup @ UGA Wed night). Nothing on whether injury or illness.
Hopefully we'll have her back Tuesday when Tennessee comes to town

Knowles or Knowler? Two different players. Marena Knowles hasn’t hardly played. Julia was hitting the ball well, but has been out of the lineup for atleast 3 games now.

Val sat the Pack down in order w/ ground/foul outs that took 4 total pitches.
Tiger bats got going...got 2 on & after foul out & FC, Cagle goes yard to out us ahead. Logoleo single & steal set up another 2 out run w/ Garcia double. Forced 2 pitching changes for Pack this inning alone.

Regan Spencer on the bump now, Cagle to 1B.

The 1st inning was a product of errors more than anything else.
I'm about to tap out following this...can't stomach the back & forth before the huge baseball game.
Just looked & they're in big trouble in T4...State has bases loaded w/ 2 outs...this series might get the nail in the coffin here & will be disastrous for the girls going forward. Definitely not what we wanted to see so far in the year from this team.
