Yuk. Sounds like holiday Bowl. Great for the kids... more exposure in Cali (no thanks) . Prefer east coast kids.
Really disappointed because I wanted to play a good team just to measure our progress. Was actually hoping we'd possibly get LSU in the gator.
Our D would feast on Oregon St. So no challenge there. Their D would make our offense look great. We could play a run heavy vanilla package that won't stretch cade's ability.

Nah, AO52 is a good tiger. Cade's going to be light's out next season. Mechanics are good. Give him time, he can make any throw. He'll have to speed up his D reading skills and learn to step up into a pocket if he has NFL aspirations. I really liken him to teebo.

The attendance averaged in the 50's for that game for years when it was PAC-B1G. Dropped to 36k when it went PAC-ACC and UNC attended last year.

Is it just me… or does it feel like the vast majority of players and coaches on ClemsonFB still love and respect DJU and wouldn’t really relish the thought of said Holiday Bowl matchup against the Beavers ??? Personally, as a diehard Tiger fan, I also respect DJU, have been following him this season, and wish him nothing but the best. It seems this proposed matchup is purely a media contrived grudge match that most of ClemsonFB and fan base wouldn’t really want.

Are you kidding!? Being able to get all that extra practice & growing these young players up and allowing redshirt kids to actually be able to get game reps isn't worth it to you? That's pretty sad to think. So what if it's a crap bowl, it's still extra practice and an extra game.

Well, California scored 40 on them. But that's an outlier. I would say comparable to Miami. But Miami has better run D and better athletes.

Thanks to John Swofford Notre Dame who is not a full ACC Member is taking bowl bids away from full members. This and the ridiculous grant of rights is how Swofford messed the ACC up.

At least Swofford was smart enough to not allow Notre Dame take an Orange Bowl spot from an ACC team. The contract states Notre Dame can play in the OB vs an ACC team but they cannot replace an ACC team!
