I have a feeling you are on the right thinking path with this kid.
He is a mover and his routes are 9n point. He catches a football like he's on the receiving end of a chest pass in bball. Very fast and can maintain distance.
Very excited to see him on the field.

Well in the bowl game it held up perfectly fine, Cade held the ball to long and missed a wide open Stool over the middle on the seam a few times. Fade routes doesn't require a lot of time, you get the ball out and let the WR make the play.

Could he be close to a Renfrow, probably not bc guys like Renfrow falling completely through the cracks don't happen to often with big time college FB schools. It would be great if the kid turns out to be a serviceable receiver in 4 wide set and throw the ball his way bc he probably wouldn't be covered to closely. But only use him for that in a really close game that we would need to win....

More schools want to win now not spend years developing a player. So his competition and skill is in question. So Clemson gets a trial period to see and develop him.

He looks like Charlie Scheen in Major League in that pic. Wild Thing! We need Serrano too!

This kid plays for a 4a Championship powerhouse team in Louisiana (6a is highest).

Not only is he used to winning, he’s scored 38 touchdowns in just 3 years. No matter the level of competition (within reason) … that much production is impressive.

Evangel Christian Academy was named by USA Today as one of the top 8 High School springboards to the NFL.

… but think you’re putting too much emphasis on the division. But kids usually go to school where they live and their parents work, they don’t necessarily enroll at a school just to play football.

Christian schools generally are smaller and high school football divisions are determined based on school enrollment size and geography, not quality of the programs.

Current enrollees Wesco and Moore in the 2024 class played in division 5.

In this case, Parker played at a school where he bloomed where he was planted (as have the others), a school that happens to have won 14 championships. It sounds like he’s gotten and taken good coaching.

If you’re only looking at top Division high schools, you’re going to miss some top players … like Tee Higgins (Div 5 in an 8 div state currently) … and diamonds in the rough like Hunter Renfrow.

Plus you never know a players path to where he graduates from high school.

I’m happy to have Parker as a preferred walk on.

State Rank in football: 68

I think of them as a walk on with a little more potential.
