It being built on the corner of Avenue of Champions and Centennial Boulevard where the sidewalk and steps to the Swan Pavilion are currently located. They may have to relocate the tailgate show but I don't think there is any football parking there.

IMO these words, (will allow us to continue the progress of bringing our basketball facilities among the top in the country.”) is one of the best things they could ever do to get Clemson basketball where we the fans believe our basketball program should be and kept there.
If we want to be known as one the top schools for FB, Basketball, Baseball, and our Softball program, it's the facilities that will help us to bring in elite talent. When they look at the facilities where you play your top sports, you want them to see and know that we're serious about the sport we are recruiting them to play!!!

I know BB is a rather polarizing figure...BUT I do believe this in combination with NIL paves the way for him to either a.) deliver or b.) be replaced.
-Lack of facilities has been a constant excuse for performance/recruiting. Check (a $40M one at that).
-Basketball program not getting involved in paying recruits to come to Clemson as to avoid penalties that could impact Football. NIL alleviates the need for a baby-sitter. Check.
Some will argue that it will take time for these new facilities to "pay-off" but the message to coaches and recruits is clear that Clemson is serious about basketball.

His program has performed worse as measured by post season performance in the five years since the sweet 16 and last round of investments than the years before. He’s a bad coach. All metrics prove it.

CBB will get an extension after going to the tournament this year. You yahoos just don't appreciate what you have. Always being negative. It amazes me. Any time of day, any time of year, some Lunatic Fringe member is going to on this "bored" ripping Clemson basketball. For those of you worried about football parking, I am told part of the problem will be solved when Johnstone is torn down. That will allow several hundred spaces to be available near the military memorial.

I know exactly what we have. The worst return on investment in a coach in ACC basketball history - eclipsing Paul Hewett disastrous contract at Georgia Tech. The next best coach to have coached more than 7 seasons coaching has nearly triple the NCAA appearances and NCAA tourney victories. But I’m sure your cocktail hour with coach before the games justifies miring us in mediocrity forever.

That is awesome. As I have said over and over, we are blessed with facilities and funds and are not losing ground because of the ACC television contracts. Our facilities and infrastructure are top of the heap and all you have to do is ride around campus and you will see it.
