Would love to see (2) 1000 yd backs and one 1000 yd receiver in Riley's new offense this season. Maybe a pipedream but how cool would that be. If we go fast and could have 90+ offensive plays per game, one never knows what could happen.

Soften up those DBs with Mafah then turn a fresh Shipley loose. Then dose with the 1-2 until they can't hold on anymore.

Mafah has been short-changed the last two seasons. I say start this season 50% Shipley and 50% Mafah and let their production determine from there who gets the most carries!

If we can move the ball between the twenty's he will get a ton of carries. I predict and hope we are an offense that gets plenty of 1st downs.
Moving the ball in the red zone is harder and a big back like Mafah comes in handy when space is tighter!

Let's hope we get plenty of chances to spread the ball around a.k.a we are an offense that routinely converts on 3rd down. We stay in 3rd and manageable and 4th and inches situations; so we keep the chains moving and the defense rested.
Plus, the other team's offense can't score if we consistently stay on the field because we are getting 1st downs. All of which will lead to more opportunities for Mafah and company.
