He seems like a genuinely classy guy. He was a very good hire for ND, IMO. I saw a Clemson team yesterday that was fighting hard to work its way back up to the standard we had established for ourselves. It's a process. Hopefully, yesterday was a new beginning, and lessons have been learned.

We've been seeing it all season long. We know that we're actually an 9-0 team. However, Clemson beat Clemson in 4 games this season and should be currently undefeated.

Stop. Stop with that narrative. Coach Freeman is a classy guy. We're not a 9-0 football team. We're a 5-4 team. ND could say they're a 10-0 team. They're a 7-3 team.
Now, what we can say is our defense is lights out. With the exception of the Duke game, our D has showed up. What we should ask is why the coaches haven't played mafah all year.

Exactly! Mafah makes the offense more efficient. He has been the most productive RB all season. However, the coaches had been trying to feature Shipley and Cade all season which had been a complete failure.

Didn’t mafa play most of the NCST game? Did we win that one? It’s a team effort, it’s been said before if 10 guys are running the right play it will not be successful. Mafah had a great game Saturday. The O-line played its best game too. I’m not taking anything away from Mafah but let’s not throw Ship to the curb. Him watching that performance Saturday might just be the reset Ship needed to realize his number 1 status is not guaranteed

Vegas thinks Clemson is MUCH better than our record. Look at the odds for the ND game -- 1 point dog to 3.5 point dog -- to a top 12 or 15 team.
Ditto vs GaTech coming up.
If the Clemson team that played at Miami or Nancy State plays against GaTech, it will be a game down to the wire.
I didn't see the ND game, due to soccer games for my grandkids. Did ND not stack the box and run-blitz on 1st and 2nd downs?
