Cool way to announce doing a facetime with Dabo. Great that it was Clemson all the way. Welcome to the family Corian!

Glad we got him, and he sounds like a great young man! That's the kind of guys we get from Texas.
Clemson had to stand out, because he lives so close to TCU, Texas and SMU.
I understand why he picked Clemson, but Texas will think they didn't offer enough NIL money to get him.

I hope he has a great career at Clemson and Graduates on time!

Go Tigers, Whoop Dook!

Welcome to Clemson Coriander! That was a neat way to make the announcement involving Dabo. Now we just need to get some elite offensive linemen.

So, tell us what it means if you are making a statement that you know.

This entire article is off or the kid is a liar. He was telling the other sites completely different things, or those sites are liars.

Do you have some access to some verifiable legitimate direct quotes attributable to him that back up your accusation?

If so, post them.

I don’t have links but have read that Texas sites were completely wrong about it

Don’t know if they were fed bad info or just being homers. It also may not have been him it could have been handlers or coaches.

Either way I’m glad we got him here.

Westphal was 100% Clemson … up until the moment he wasn’t

Some of our most reliable sources were totally convinced that Fletcher Westphal was a solid lock for Clemson.

Then, all of a sudden … he committed to Florida.

Now I don’t recall actually seeing seeing any direct quotes from Westphal saying he was a Tiger and we certainly saw next to nothing to reassure us that Gipson was ours.

Both guys were pretty low key, even though fans and media gurus thought they had an accurate read.

I hope it makes you feel good calling an 18 or 19 year-old kid who is just pursuing his dream a liar. Holy cow

Calling a young man a liar without true facts with verifiable sources to back up what you say is ill-advised.

Both Anna Adams and Mike Roach of 24/7 crystal balled Corian Gipson to Clemson on 6/4. This aligns with what he said about knowing it was Clemson after his visit, which was on 6/2.

Glad to see he's on board, but man! An hour long livestream to announce? Similar to LeBron's "The Decision"!

I always say if they don't pick my guys I want them at Clemson.

That said, I'm a little put off by the article because of what I have seen and read on other sites meaning Texas sites. He was telling them things that were not accurate apparently.

Also, every Texas commitment says the exact same thing about why they pick Texas, the family atmosphere.

Along with every other college in America. Its always the " Family atmosphere" They treat you like family at (insert school here) That's every commitment to every school, every time.

Some families spoil their kids with a huge allowance!

Some parents try to buy the affection of their kids with money and material things … while other’s simply provide a safe comfortable home while showering their kids with unconditional love.

They are not the same, and most of the players and parents of kids who choose Clemson can recognize the difference.

I love this quote:

“I have known for sure that Clemson was it for a long time,” he said. “My first visit there I fell in love with it. With Clemson, if you are committed, you can’t take any other visits. So I wanted to experience my high school recruitment and see other places and finish it out. But I knew Clemson was it.”

It sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and has good role models in his life.

Welcome to Clemson young man.
