I like Godfrey. Also like our offensive rebounding too. Lots of 2nd chances. Obviously can't read too much in an opener but 10 guys getting double digit minutes is a good sign.
I take it you'll post your full breakdown on your assessment?

Nice win for our Tigers. Both of them. Lady Tigers won against Winthrop 71-41. And we celebrated Coach Butler's 300th career win. Congratulations Coach Butler.
While the Amanda Butler interview posted by Nikki Hood is appreciated, it's obvious it's too big an ask for Tigernet to cover it.

Nice win…random thoughts..
You can say it’s just Winthrop ..but Vegas had the Tigers as 14.5 favorites…they topped that …
Free throw shooting like that will win some games..
PJ Hall healthy is a problem for the ACC…
This team has depth too…
Pete Yannity is a pretty good commentator if you ask me …

I liked our perimeter passing. We got a couple dudes that if they get an open look, we'll knovk some 3 balls down. Hence my earlier prediction that we win the acc. I see it that teams try to take hall, sChief or Godfrey out by packing in the paint, they'll either kick outside for an open trey, or step outside themselves and take it.
I've been bullish on my man sChief since last year and his shot is even better than last year... even his 3 ball was pretty. And he plays angry and gotten stronger. Also, I don't see many teams that can man up with hall. Teams will concede his points kinda like they did last year. But imo sChief is becoming more and more like Tyson.
And that's not even counting our bench depth. Long way to go but I hope we get Maryland in the tournament. We'll get pushed early and that's a good thing.

Hall missed the easy games last year and it hurt his statistics. He has the potential to be the player of the year in the ACC. Winthrop was actually a pretty good opponent, so Clemson looked good for the opener.

Absolutely, 100% agree. We didn't know how bad it was until after the season when it was revealed how bad the injuries were and how much a struggle for minutes the whole year. Now we know why Hall was out so many times last season when it appeared we could use him in critical time in game.
Winthrop picked 3rd in their conference... so they can win it and be a tournament team. We did look sharp for an opener.
