@ the Event in China . . .
Savannah Grewal stumbled on the Par 5 coming to the Clubhouse late last night . . . She shot 3 Under for her Opening Round and sits T-13th Place heading into the 2nd Round . . . She will Tee It Up shortly after midnight here on the East Coast (they are 13 hours ahead of us in China)

Doc Redman and Bryson Nimmer have both shot solid 2 Under Rounds and are currently sitting @ T-39th Place . . .

It was good to see Bryson shoot a -2. At least he gives himself a chance as I fully expect -2 to be the opening cut. It could open at -3. Same with Puerto Rico, go low or go home. Got to average a -4 round in these tournaments.
My man Jacob is off to a horrible start. Parred every hole including the 2 par 5's. Granted, these are short par 5's with several eagles. Shot tracking is like the kft and Jacob has been hitting rough and bunkers. Obviously having problems with his driver and hasn't been able to scramble his way out, or sink a putt. One or the other.
Lucas is being Lucas. Missed a 3 footer for par and a 6 footer for birdie.
Come on Savannah and Alice. I so want to see one of our own in the final group of the final day... even if they don't hoist a trophy.
Ps> the gals tee it up in Augusta Saturday and Sunday. Forecast looks gloomy for Saturday, again. Seems All of our spring sports have been mired by weather.

@ The Arnold Palmer Invitational, it appears that MyfavOrange® has chosen well this week.
In the Puerto Rico Open, Jacob has scrambled well, keeping his card clean to go with his 4 birdies . . . He will complete his first round early tomorrow morning. The good news is he still has 2 Par 5s remaining . . . Ben and Jonathan have given themselves a good chance to make weekend play . . . and I was glad to see Kyle shoot an Even Par round and not shoot himself out of contention in the 1st Round.
In the Korn Ferry Tour, Our TIGERS will need to get to at least 4 Under to play through the weekend.
Remember . . . for us night owls, Savannah will begin her 2nd Round close to midnight tonight!!!

Yeah, I think the kft might stay at 4, depending on condition. But you better be at 5.
But I blame this on you Skeet. Why you do me this way. Get my buddy playing good after a slow start just to jerk the rug out and suspend play. Not nice. Gosh I wish Jacob could have kept playing... not sure I can hang with Savannah tonight. Probably be like last night, sleep an hour, then look and drift back off. Lol

Savy has bounced back with a birdie on the Par 5 she bogeyed yesterday . . . Now Even Par through 8 Holes and currently sitting T-14th Place . . .

It’s 3:26am . . . Savy is still at Even Par . . . now through 10 Holes . . . and it’s time for a nap . . . 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for Our TIGER 🤞🏻🤞🏻

You called it, Jacob birdied both the 5's and just had the bogey on the par 3. Good deal. Hopefully all our Tigers will go really low.
How about Savannah. Finished t26. Just couldn't capture any momentum on the back nine. But Ko had her bogeys too. Only difference between her and Savannah was she hit a fabulous shot on 2 for a par 4 eagle... and Ko found 2 feathers on her back 9. Savannah will learn. She's definitely showing she can hang with the best.
I'm sure there's some little girls over there that will like them Tiger head covers and the Paw stamped on her bag. Future Tigers? Maybe. 😍

Apologies for so many posts. Maybe skeeta56 is still napping or taking care of family stuff. Sometimes life happens. I've got a full day too.
Stupid Puerto Rico scoring. They changed Jacob's birdie on 13 yesterday to a par 😫
So instead of finishing -5, he finished his first round -4. He's already started his 2nd round.
Kyle, JB, and Ben at noon. Trahan just getting started. I fully expect the cut to be -5 or lower. The early rounds are scoring. Leader is already -10. Go low or go home.
