as The Farmers Insurance Open from San Diego, California begins a day earlier than usual . . .

I believe if you check carefully, that for some reason, this tournament is starting today, instead of the usual Thursday start.

Repeating this info in this thread in case it got lost in the one from last week...
Byrd and Young will be on the Torrey Pines South Course today. For those of you with ESPN+, there will be Featured Hole coverage on all par 3 holes on the South Course. The first stream begins at 12:15 pm Eastern and will jump around between holes 3, 8, 11, and 16. Then, at 3 pm Eastern, there will be one dedicated stream for hole 8 and another for hole 16. You should be able to catch Byrd and Young as they pass through some or all of these holes.
Then, we'll have an opportunity to see Martin, Redman, and Stanley on those same holes on Thursday.
Additionally, they just showed Ben on the first hole of the North Course on the Main Feed stream.

Upon further inspection, there are two courses in use for this qualifier and I'm seeing four of our Tigers in the fields.
Cottam and Nottingham are on the Wellington National course.
Kennedy and Proveaux are on the Tesoro course.

their Opening Rounds . . . Most of them had uneventful, unproductive days . . . Ben had a solid day shooting -2, which has him in ~50th Place . . .
Doc did have his Round @ -4 thru his first 12 Holes . . . however, he bogeyed 4 of his last 6 Holes to shoot Even Par for the day . . .
Hopefully one of our guys will shoot a strong round tomorrow . . . and Ben will have another solid Day!!!
Congrats to MyfavOrange® ‘s guy, Max Homa, as he shot -4 and is currently in the Top 20!!!

Our former Tigers are having a frustrating start to the tours. Sadly this week, Nimmer had it going and blew an excellent chance at making the cut. Not sure what's going on with Jacob. Thought for sure he'd be on fire but much like turk, his game has disappeared.
As for our guys on PGA this week. Ben, Doc, and Kyle played the North course. The leaders of rounds of -3 or better shot 4-1 better on the NC vs the SC... as you posted, Ben was the only one that took some advantage. Doc... disappointing after having it going. Why the inconsistencies? He and Kyle made enough birdies but the bogeys. Argh, frustrating
At least JB abd Carson played the SC so hopefully they'll have better rounds on the NC today.

Off to a bad start on what was the easiest course yesterday. The North. If you looked at the stats for yesterday, Carson had strokes gained putting of-4. Ouch. Had several within 5 ft. Even more in the 10 ft range. Today thru 4, he's only hit 1 green in reg. To equate to 2 bogeys +4 for the tournament. Cut is fixing to jump to-2... or it was that way when I originally posted it. Now it's down to even par. Conditions must have deteriorated. thus the only Tiger above the cut is JB. Our other ones are falling with the cut.
Boys need to step it up, still time. Go Tigers!!!!

This is just my opinion Skeeta and other Tiger golf fans but the PGA Tour is heading to the late 70s early 80s boredom fest period. The absence of the LIV golfers has cut down the star power significantly and I am struggling to have even mild interest in the new crop of emotionless check cashers who rarely interact with fans. I still crave a good nap in front of the TV on Saturday afternoons so all is not lost.
