Do it. I would never say things like this should happen…. But in this situation, it’s different.
There’s something very criminal about what happened to them.
Boycott the game. Do it… at some point you have to get your point across.

That would certainly send a message and cause problems. I support that. That would create a stir around the selection committee and their decision making process. I think Fla. St. would get more publicity this way than playing in the game.

I wouldnt be surprised if the teams go all out with everyone. There will be a huge audience. Its an unusual game. The battle of teams that think they were ripped off. It will be interesting.

Just seems the bowl season is a shell of what it once was. Used to love it and the matchups but after the playoffs, transfer portal, and opt outs it’s just not the same for me personally.

Yep. It is basically a game to get younger players reps and begin the next season prep. That is now how I view.
There is not really any pride in beating a team that is a shell of itself. And quite honestly, if we lose a bowl game it really does not bother me all that much at this point.

Do you really think their fan base or team care about playing in an also ran bowl after getting royally screwed? For that matter, are you pumped about playing a mid-tier SEC team in South Georgia later this month? Meaningless in 2023. Extra practices, slow f’ing golf clap. Heck yeah they should boycott.

Notice how in this post, most of the people thinking that FSU got shafted and wanting them to send a message are Clemson fans. The others who are saying how stupid they would be for thinking sending a message is more important than money are SEC trolls/coots
Not saying FSU would do it, but sometimes when something is so egregious, people don't care about your money , they care about the message

Wouldn't it be great if FSU "sent the message" that since they didn't get the bowl they thought they were entitled to, they would stick it to the Orange Bowl? Wouldn't it be even better if moving forward, all the Bowl Selection Committees remembered that and passed by FSU?

Boy, I’d love to see that happen.
Another idea (no where nearly as good as yours) would be for the FSU team to wear tattered uniforms and enter the stadium by staggering a la The Walking Dead style. Holding up giant foam hands giving everyone the finger. Piping in the Elon Musk soundbite to Disney (owner of ESPN as their proxy shill for all things SEC) … you know, where Elon told Disney CEO Bob Iger to “F _ _ _ yourself.”
