It is unbelievable that we offer so few players each year and still get the quality we get.
A Clemson offer is sought after by all players.

We are selective by the athletic ability and character of the individual. Other schools, like UGA, just look at the athletic side of things.

And a holding cell for either his guys to sober up, or to await the proper authorities to come absolve them of their heinous actions....the proper authorities being the campus police, bought and paid for by UGA itself. Gotta protect those football assets so they can be on the field as much as possible

Can you imagine the angst of being an offered player knowing you've been bumped at one of those schools by someone with a slightly higher 247 ranking...none of the motor mouthed media will dare acknowledge this fact...or maybe some of these are so stupid that they don't know or maybe just show me the money...imagine what would happen if the choice were made based on the education or integrity of the school! Now NIL and portal removes that possibility in most cases!

Of 9 players in the portal, 2 were former walk-ons looking for playing time and Lannden Zanders was medically retired. So really only 6 recruited players who were active and on scholarship.
Compared that 18 from South Carolina.

I don't know that offer numbers equate to work load. It might even require more diligence ahead of taking that leap with the limited number of offers we dole out. Like hitting your target with a rifle as opposed to a shotgun - the former takes more time and preparation before you take your shot.

goal was to run a different program, and that he was not going to model Clemson after any other program around the country. His goal was to build a program that OTHERS would want to copy.
As Dabo has stated many times, EVERY offer that he makes is a committable offer, and it is first come, first served until a position fills up, and then those excess offers will be withdrawn.
That is NOT the way most schools operate. They just scattershot offers everywhere, but will only accept commitments from certain players, so an offer is not really an offer. It is just a question, a statement of possible interest.
