That is correct. The Brad cult will tell you that basketball people know how great of a basketball coach Brad is and that he has had his hands tied behind his back. Well why hasn't a basketball school with basketball people come after him. You see it all the time in all sports where a guy doing more with less lands a much better job. Brad not so much as a sniff.

• If your family has to move everything, everybody with a coaching change if you end up in a desirable place to live such as Clemson you might want to stay there. Does this mean you haven’t had people calling to court you, No.
• If you want to stay in said desirable place to live and you are making a comfortable salary are you gonna poke the bear with your employer by saying (leaking), “Hey, So-and-so called and they want me to interview” No
• Do you at least let your immediate boss know for job security? Yes
• Does your Boss then turn around and leak this? Why would they? To appease CUOwnsthisstate on a message board? Sure why not?

For you and your clemsonmountaineers scock. There's certain coaches that you never hear other colleges going after. Coaches such as Dabo, Saban, Smart, even no championships Ryan Day. That's because those guys are considered untouchables.
On the other hand there's many schools with the resources to swipe Brownell away from Clemson.

the Dukes and UNCs of the world. It’s a nice accomplishment to even be competitive with programs like that, much less beat them, given the huge disparity in resources, history, recruiting, etc.

Most great players don’t want to play for an over weight guy with a crew cut. Brad can’t recruit high profile players because of Brad not because of Clemson.
