a one-loss SEC champion. They would have had a lot harder time justifying it if Travis was healthy, but that's probably what would have happened.

I agree. I still think they would have found a way to put bama in even if travis was healthy. It's completely bs and they don't care who knows it. They just do it what they want. Money is the root of all evil

A hurt player shouldn’t have had any bearing on the selection. They wanted a sorry excuse conference team in no matter what and did all they could to get one. Hope Alabama gets slaughtered but don’t think Michigan will.

They just would have said no #1 has ever dropped out. And while Bama had an impressive win over Georgia, jumping from #8 to #4 was a bridge too far. Just so long as an SEC team was in. If Bama didn’t have the lucky miracle at Auburn and dropped to #9 or#10, beating Georgia wouldn’t have dropped UGA out if FSU was at full strength. FSU would have been in and Texas would have been hosed, but the key objective of an SEC team in would have been accomplished. Texas would be screaming, but they would know they would be getting all the SEC bias soon enough.

Florida St would have made it if not for the injury.

They would have never in a million years left out an unbeaten SEC champion who lost their QB in the last game of the season, so anything they say related to that being the reason is BS.

If Texas had not beaten Alabama in Tuscaloosa, do they put in undefeated FSU and leave 1-loss Texas (lost to OU) out?

Yes. I think they put FSU in with this scenario.

Sorry this is the biggest injustice that we have seen outside of the BCS and all the other years in this jacked up sport that is D1 CFB. The 12 team playoff came 1 year too late.
